Glo creations is a Rwandan based textile design and printing company, specializing in creating African inspired quality patterns for textile, garments and home interiors. Our work is to design, print on textile with hand techniques such as batik and screen-printing. Founded in 2008, by Ms. Gloria KAMANZI UWIZERA. The company has its extensive network in the Rwandan market and has gained an in-depth understanding of the handcraft sector.

Our work is to design print on textle with hand techniques, then produce beautiful textile products The major portion of the Glo Creation product range is textile-based and includes printed tabrics, ready-to-wear garments. home interior tabrics and products

Collaboration

We collaborated with a Belgian artist “Evelina Merlo”, a limited edition by materializing the drawing of a Rwandan Lady by “UMUNYARWANDAKAZI” (in Kinyarwanda) on the pillow covers.

Summary

Within five days, Uwizera had learned textile printing on t-shirts—what was required was to keep practicing. Although she had decided to make the batik on t-shirts as a business, she reckoned that her drawing skills were much more needed.
